What is the best recommend dual DVD portable player for car? My husband and I are taking our kids to Disney in June, I was wondering we have been window shopping for portable DVD players for the car. Preferably a dual. But for some reason every dual dvd player that we have seen has terrible reviews from other people. Out of chance does anyone have or know of a great dual portable dvd player for the car that you can say works great and really recommend? Thanks in advance.

Our current one stopped working and I cannot find one with a battery for the main screen anywhere. We like to bring the main screen on airplanes with us which is why we need the battery. I have an Element Portable DVD dual screen player-model E750-DPD? Can I hook Playstation 2 up to it? The main screen has a separate digital out and av in hole in addition to these three to connect to the second screen-DC out, IR link, AV out. The second screen has only av in ir link, dc in-all which connect to the first screen. The player came with an av cable, one side connects to the main screen digital out. The other end has 3-red,yellow,white-but they can't connect to PS2-is this where I need a separate adapter? If so, what? I'll bet Radio Shack will have what I need, they always do! How can I make dvd's play in my dvd-vcr player with tv on dual mode satellite receiver & 36 in. tv? I have a 36in RCA cabinet tv that is tied into a satellite dish with a dual mode receiver that enables the one receiver to serve 3 different tvs. Also attached to this tv is a Samsung DVD-VCR player. The problem is that some DVD's just won't play. The screen says this disc cannot be played, yet it plays ok on another dvd player that is built into a very inexpensive Magnavox TV. The disks that won't play are rented ones or some mood-enhancers I bought that play natural sounds, music, and a changing scene similar to a screensaver, for example a fire in a fireplace or waterfalls. Again, these same DVD's play ok on my Magnavox. I contacted Dish tech support both on the phone and online to no avail. Phone guy said he'd get back to me but didn't. Online had no sensible way to describe the problem. I tried to contact Samsung; again, communication failed. I fed all the codes the satellite gave me into the satellite receiver to enable my Samsung, but it didn't work.

And None of my older dvd players can read it except for my computer itself. PS2 wont work either. Computer won't read burned dual layer DVD, but DVD player can. How to fix? I just used burned a DVD-9 onto a Verbatim Lightscribe DVD+R DL disc, but when I tried playing the disc on the computer I used to burn the disc, the computer reads it on a blank disc! However, when I tried to play the burned disc onto a DVD player or another computer, it reads fine! My computer can burn and read single layer DVDs fine. Is there a problem with my computer drive or the discs themselves? (the same problem persists using various different burning software) How can I burn dual layer DVDs that my computer can read!? DVD +R Dual Layer discs, will they play in a dvd player? Hi I made this wedding video and its just over 4.6 gig so won't fit on the DVD disc. If I buy a dual layer 8.5 gig disc it will fit on that easily but, will it play in a regular DVD player on most TV's? or will I have issues so better split the wedding onto 2 regulard DVDs? Home made Dual Layer DVD wont play on my DVD player!? I've edited together the DVD I've made of my sisters wedding but it was too big to fit on a single layer disk so I bought a dual layer burner. (LG GSA-H42L 18 speed Super Multi Rewriter) I saved the DVD project in a folder as DVD format ie two folders one labled Audio_TS and one Video_TS but when I burn them to a dual layer disk it won't play in my TV's DVD player. In fact it will only play when used in the DVD burner I just bought. Is there something I have to adjust with regards to the Book Type? I think it's burning as a DVD ROM, does that matter? Any help would be great!

How do I get my portable DVD player to run off it's battery? I bought an Insignia dual screen portable DVD player at Best Buy. I have returned 2 so far because I can't get them to play using battery power. I have called the Insignia help line 3 times with no success. I have tried plugging the unit in for 24+ hrs to charge the battery - both with the unit on and with the unit off. I assume that I should be able to play a movie, and remove the power plug to let the battery take over.....or turn the unit on without having the power cord plug in.....I can't do either. I can't find any switch to engage the battery....can't find any settings in the menus of the DVD player....and can't find any instructions about the battery in the manual. The helpline insists that it has an internal battery and that it should last about 2.5 hrs. I thought I was a smart guy, but I'm feeling very dumb......please help!
