1. Any DVD player should be able to play DVD-DL. Look at the manual of the DVD or the box and it will write the formats it is able to play. Sometimes that could be tricky, it may not say that it plays DVD-DL, but in reality it does. I got Philips DVP642 and it plays EVERYTHING including DVD's from overseas or other regions. DVP642 has been discountinued in the stores, but i just also got it for my friend and we found it on circuitcity.com; stores don't sell it, but online you can order it. I also heard that Philips DVP3040 is able to play everything, you can find this model it at the local store Best Buy.
