How do you hook up a portable DVD player to a TV?
I have a small portable DVD player, Mintek. I was wondering if I could hook this up to a TV for a larger picture. Regular coaxel cables don't seem like they'd fit.

- umm, i think that if you have an extra sreen, use can use the cables from thatm and hook it up to the TV instead of the extra screen, other than that, im not sure you can
- You probably need a 3.5mm to RCA cable. You likely need one proprietary to your player.
- Depends on which model you have. Not all DVD players have AV outputs. Assuming your TV has RCA AV inputs, and your DVD player has AV outputs, you should be able to connect it to your TV, unless you have a really old TV. If your model has video out and audio out RCA ports, you can use standard A/V RCA cables. If your player has a 3.5mm AV out port, then you'll need a 3.5mm to AV cable. Since these are not always standardized, you may have to experiment with inserting the cables into your TV.
