Dual Screen DVD Player

car dvd player. screen isnt illuminated!? help?

I have a car dvd player... Dual xdvd700 everything I thought was connected right. Everything works, but the screen... I can barely barely see it.but its there and on... Is there an illumination wire I'm missin? Its like the screen has no backlight? Please help me! Thanks!

1. Did you hook up the orange illumination wire? If so, then make sure your dash lights and everything are turned up. If not then try disconnecting the orange wire (I never hook up the illumination). If you are still having problems then either contact your local stereo shop or Dual.
