Dual Screen DVD Player

Does the 2007 Toyota Sienna DVD Navigation system have dual DVD screens?

I'd like to know if the DVD navigation system is just for navigating or is it also a DVD player system. Also does it have two screens, (ie one up front on the dash and one overhead for the back seats)? , and if so, are these linked so that one movie can be watched simultaneously on both screens? Also can you tell me if the back DVD screen is viewable from the middle row for little children, or do they have to sit all the way back in the 3rd row to see the screen? Any other info you can provide about the DVD options would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

  1. The Front screen will not play DVDs that is Illegal for a screen to be in the line of sight for the driver. You can get a DVD entertainment system that mounts to the roof for the rear seats, Which can be seen from the second row and the 3rd row. They have wireless headphones or you can play the sound over the audio system of the car.
  2. The DVD navigation and the DVD entertainment systems are two totally seperate and independent systems. They do not have any connections between the two. The Navigation system only uses the term DVD as the maps are stored on a DVD disc. The player for the Nav system will not play regular DVD's in any way. There is no way to watch DVD movies or the like from the front screen. The DVD entertainment system is in an overhead console just behind the front seats. You can swivel and tilt the screen to be able to be watched from either the middle or rear row of seats comfortably. Hope this helps. Ken
