How do you hook up a PS2 to a portable DVD player?

I have a Durabrand portable dvd player and it has the red/yellow/white input plugs. I plugged the PS2 into it, but I can't get my game to show up on the screen, it just says "no disc." Any suggestions? Please and thanks!

1. Try changing the input setting on the DVD player.
2. You have to make sure your Portable Durabrand has the RCA (yellow, red and white) inputs has to say video in and audio in. This way your PS2 can connect to your portable DVD player. Some portable dvd players have this same RCA (yellow, red and white) plugs but the plugs have it saying video out and audio out so that you can plug your portable dvd player to the television.
3. If you have a main menu screen, there should be an option for selecting the input source.This is just a guess. I also agree with ddominic.The jacks on the dvd player need to be input not output for this to work.
